Kindergarten Thankful Award winners are Brexlynn Richmond, Alivia Stephens, Audrey Feistel, Braxton Bollinger, Zayana Zarate, Romina Reyes, Ramon Castillo, Richard Stingle, River McLearen, Brinlee Siebold, Layla Schones, Sawyer Jellison and Olivia Abbe. 

Also, Braxton Schuldt, Z’Rye Strider, Caroline Metcalf, Anthony Stoneroad, Ashton Emberson, Lilith English, Wyatt Selvidge and Laynee Culver.

Pre-kindergarten Thankful Award winners include Kayson Fisher, Kailynn Sterling, Teagan Miller, Legacy Oseni, Beau Filiaggi, AJ Looney, Jensen Jones, Kyle Boyd, Jayden O’Hara, Eleanor Woods and Mackenzie Rhoades.

Members of Chapter AE of P.E.O. International met recently in the home of Donna Dyer to enjoy a Christmas social.

Others attending were Karen Rushing, Ann Zavy, Becky Reuter, Janan Fletcher, Lindsey Vise and Robin White Mahone serving as co-hostess.

Maple November Students of the Month are Logan Niles, Jessee Elwood, Kamdyn Bonilla, Luca Dill, Jake Wells, Declan Brothers, Caleb Blanco, Kynlee Shamblin, Makenzie Caldwell and Ayvah Fudge.

Canadian County CASA Inc. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) has welcomed its newest volunteers.

Susan Linderer, Autumn Detamore and Barbie Grider made the commitment to give their time to help abused and neglected children in the community.

Canadian County Associate District Judge Bob Hughey swore in the new volunteers, and they have been appointed to their first CASA cases.

The third annual Transition Thanksgiving Luncheon held recently featured traditional thanksgiving fare prepped and made by El Reno Public Schools Transition members.

This included making a list of foods, creating a budget, grocery shopping, prepping, cooking and serving.

Lamplighters OHCE of Canadian County met recently at Mount Zion Global Methodist Church, with Carol Stine opening the meeting.

Donna Wehmuller read the history of the hymn “It Is Well With My Soul” and played a recording of the hymn.

Maxine Little read minutes from the last meeting, with Patricia Morrison giving the treasury report.

Election of officers was held, with officers remaining the same.

Little gave a report on the executive meeting held in October.

Hillcrest kindergarten October Responsibility Award winners are Keldyn Webb, Zayden Cole, Scarlett Rabago, Kinleigh Lynn, Ariyah Samad, Alayna Stewart, Nova Melendez, Jackson Schuldt, Eli Murray, Zayana Zarate, Romina Reyes, Alice Anderson and Weston Kuehl.

Also, Dayana Jaramillo, Ismael Bonilla, Everly Norman, Miah Dominguez, Brayan Cirlos, Aaliyah Grisham, Kallen Brittain, Nayeli Gonzalez, Kason Ward, Caroline Metcalf and Z’Rye Strider.
