Body Canadian County 4-H members accept a proclamation designating October as Canadian County 4-H Month.The Canadian County 4-H program, with 23 clubs and 41 certified volunteers, has reached more than 10,000 families nationwide this year, virtually and in-person.

Body The Canadian County 4-H Volunteer Leaders Council’s annual fundraising gala, Soupapalooza, is set for Tuesday, Oct. 14 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Canadian County Expo.

Body The Pride of El Reno recently participated in the Elgin Southwest Showdown, placing fourth in 5A Red and Top 12 in Prelims to advance to the final round.In the final round the band placed 10th out of 26 bands.

Body Anna Rinehart recently hosted the October meeting of Chapter AE of P.E.O., with Karen Pappas as co-hostess.Special guest was Lyndsay Bayne, public information and marketing manager for the City of El Reno. She is also in charge of The Filling Station Visitors Center.

Body The Damrosch Music Club will present its monthly music program composed of choral and ensemble pieces on Wednesday, Oct. 8 beginning at 10 a.m. at Ellison Avenue United Methodist Church, 600 S. Ellison Avenue.A small reception will follow the program.
