Body After a year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, El Reno began hosting youth summer sports camps. The EHS girls basketball program was first up with 56 campers, both boys and girls, taking part in a three-day camp.

Body El Reno’s junior high baseball team kicked off its summer season recently with a 0-3-1 record. The Indians are playing in the metal bat division of the Red Dirt League, losing twice to Norman, a varsity game to Norman North and tying with Bethany 5-5.

Body El Reno High School’s baseball team kicked off play last week in the wooden bat division of the Red Dirt Summer League. The Indians lost two games to Heritage Hall (11-0/10-2) before splitting with Shawnee. El Reno beat the Wolves 7-5 and lost the nightcap 4-0.

Body Having ran three Boston Marathons and most recently a half-marathon in Tulsa, Shannon Eichholz knows how to run long distances and do them quickly.

Body El Reno will field a junior high team in the metal bat division of the summer baseball league and a high school varsity team in the wooden bat division.
