I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing the El Reno Strong community in action for many years to support families with various needs such as tornado victims, cancer patients and car wrecks.
Unfortunately, you are needed again.
After years of serving as maintenance support for volunteers, the City of El Reno is hoping to hit a home run in its first swing at running a youth sports league.
El Reno Youth Baseball held its first league games last week with the city at the helm in every phase of the sport at the Ashbrook Complex.
“Obviously this is a new endeavor for us but what we hope to accomplish is that every family and every kid deserves an opportunity to play youth sports sports here in El Reno.
We just learned more than 9,000 people came to El Reno recently over a three-day period to watch teens lift weights.
