Phase II of Sunset Trails project approved; home demolition paused by city

Body

Light is shining down on the next construction phase for Lake El Reno’s Sunset Trail after a vote of the El Reno City Council during last week’s special meeting.

Based off the recommendation of city engineer Amanda Newberry of Halff Associates, the council voted unanimously to award the project, Sunset Trails Phase II, to Oklahoma City-based SAC Services in the amount of $604,139.75.

“We are very happy to get this started and it’s part of the Adams Park Master Plan,” said El Reno City Manager Matt Sandidge.
