The Apron Annies HCE group hosted the 2023 Okarche High School senior class baccalaureate services held last week at Okarche High School. Annies have hosted this event for 30 years, with their first being May 1993. Annies members assisting in the reception were Mary Nell Brueggen, Jan Wittrock and Betty Kroener.

Brown teaches Eastern Geography at Etta Dale.

He is an El Reno High School and Emporia State University graduate. His favorite sports teams are the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Cowboys, and his hobbies include exercising, jet skiing and home improvement.

El Reno Kiwanis Club held its annual Pancake Breakfast on April 15 at Wesley United Methodist Church.

The pancake breakfast was well-attended and funds raised will go toward funding several scholarships to graduating seniors of the El Reno High School class of 2023.
