Body Eight Okarche students received state medals in seven events during the recent OSSAA State Speech Tournament. This year’s tournament was held virtually with students submitting videos of their qualifying performances.

Body GIRL - Aliki and Todd Joshua announce the birth of their daughter, Eleni Viviana Joshua. Eleni was born March 13 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She weighed 6 pounds and 7 ounces and measured 18 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Ray Dyer and Viviane Dyer.

Body Fresh Anointing will hold an Easter service this Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The church is giving away 50 Easter egg baskets filled with candy and toys to the first 50 children ages 2-11.

Body El Reno Indian Baptist Church Easter Sunday service will begin at 11 a.m., followed by an Easter egg hunt for the youth but no meal planned. Members welcome donations of prizes, plastic eggs filled with candies and hard-boiled colored eggs. The church is located at 109 E.

Body The Okarche Speech Team recently won its 24th Southwest Regional Speech and Debate title. OHS claimed the first-place sweepstakes plaque from the event, which was held virtually this year due to COVID. Crescent placed second, while Lawton Academy took third.

Body The Beautiful Day program last week recognized Roblyer students with birthdays in February and March. Besides being celebrated as they arrived at school by car or bus, students were also treated to a pizza lunch.
