Body Project Transformation recently celebrated Christmas in July. The celebrations included Christmas crafts, music and decorations throughout Wesley United Methodist Church. Each of the campers and teachers received Santa hats to wear all week.

Body The University of Central Oklahoma recently announced those students named to the university’s honor rolls. For the spring 2022 semester, 1,343 students were named to the President’s Honor Roll, an honor achieved by those who recorded a straight-A or 4.0 GPA.

Body The Underwood Oklahoma Home and Community Education Association of Canadian County met recently at a local restaurant with Natalia Valenzuela calling the meeting to order. Bernita Davis read minutes of the previous meeting, while Ann Ricketts gave the treasury report.

Body Calumet Public Schools recently inducted the inaugural class of its Athletic Hall of Fame. The class included, from left, Mariah Miles-Ayers, Mark Evans, Robin Challis-Davis, Rick Gore, Shane Hansen and Janet Burkhead-Schroeder.

Body The Canadian Valley Art Guild hosted the Weavers Guild of Oklahoma City during its June meeting. The Weavers Guild gave hands-on demonstrations on various looms and spinning wheels as well as discussing the different materials used for weaving.

Body Ethan Brown of El Reno has been named to the President’s Honor Roll for the spring 2022 semester at Bismarck State College, Bismarck, N.D. Students must maintain at least a 3.50 GPA while enrolled in at least 12 semester hours to qualify for the BSC President’s Honor Roll.
