Saxophonist Winn to perform at ER’s First Assembly of God

Whether on the streets of America or abroad, from prisons to parks, churches of all sizes and the corporate stage, singer, songwriter and saxophonist Greg Winn has been Making Music Matter for more than 40 years.

He has devoted his life to music ministry and is described as one of the most versatile music ministers on the road today.

Winn will be in concert on Sunday, Jan. 8 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at First Assembly of God, 1701 S. Jensen Ave.

The public is invited, and child care will be provided through age 4.

Masonic Lodge donates to RCC

El Reno Masonic Lodge #50 annually supports the Redlands Community College agriculture scholarship, but members recently had the opportunity to provide individual assistance to student Sarah Breshears.

Worshipful Master Mike Smith and member Ed Zweiacher presented Breshears with a check for housing expenses. Joining them are Tina Jacobs, Redlands resident life coordinator, and Scotti Charmasson, agriculture professor.

The El Reno Annual Christmas Dinner will be held at Wesley Methodist Family Center, 101 S. Barker, on Dec. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy fun and fellowship along with turkey and dressing, potatoes and gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, bread and desserts.
