Body We have a dog, his name is Patrick Francis Thompson. I wanted to name one of our boys that, but my husband didn’t agree. He said it was “too Irish.”

Body El Reno High School’s October Students of the Month are Alivia Jackson, Kobe Little, Sabrina Tooley, Jamalay Ruiz and Cloe Gunsolus.Also earning the award were Garrett March, Alejandro Baeza and Issac Scraper. 

Body A mother/daughter teacher duo taught the same poem to their respective classes, although they didn’t know it.When they realized what had happened, they brought their classes together for a combined performance.

Body For three consecutive years, Okarche High School’s yearbook staff has been awarded the gold level of the National Yearbook Program of Excellence. The yearbook program placed at the gold level in 2020, 2022 and 2023, and placed at the bronze level in 2021. 

Body No, there were no ghosts floating around the halls of El Reno High School last week on Halloween, just hundreds of kids getting free candy from student organizations and sports teams during the annual Haunt the High School event.
