Two poems in a pod

Body

A mother/daughter teacher duo taught the same poem to their respective classes, although they didn’t know it.

When they realized what had happened, they brought their classes together for a combined performance.

Jeanna Miller’s kindergarten class from Hillcrest and Kaylee Stine’s third-grade class at Lincoln Learning Center joined together recently to recite “Mystic Magination Night.” The photo is from the performance.

For three consecutive years, Okarche High School’s yearbook staff has been awarded the gold level of the National Yearbook Program of Excellence. The yearbook program placed at the gold level in 2020, 2022 and 2023, and placed at the bronze level in 2021.

No, there were no ghosts floating around the halls of El Reno High School last week on Halloween, just hundreds of kids getting free candy from student organizations and sports teams during the annual Haunt the High School event.
