Members of Chapter AE/OK of P.E.O. International gathered recently at a local coffee shop for their February meeting, with Robin White-Mahone serving as co-hostess.
Ann Zavy opened the meeting with the Chaplain’s Prayer and the quote, “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.”
Karen Pappas called roll. Others attending were Becky Reuter, Margaret Price, Anna Rinehart, Christy Eichholz, Lindsey Vise and Janan Fletcher.

We’ve been going to the high school basketball games because our son, James plays. It has been so much fun! He will be a senior next year, but we might just be hooked and keep going to the games even after he graduates. I love seeing all the kids having fun and the teachers having fun with them!

El Reno Acts of Kindness Day is right around the corner. On Wednesday, Feb. 19, put kindness at the top of your to-do list.
It’s a simple concept, just do something nice for someone else. It can be as simple as opening a door for someone, saying hello to a stranger, picking up a piece of trash, sending flowers to someone anonymously. You get the idea.

The El Reno Wranglers recently held their February meeting at the 4-H building. Trisha Duncan opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, with Gary Sorrells offering prayer.
Members discussed the annual rodeo set for Sept. 12 and 13 and participating in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at the OKC Stockyards on March 15.
The group welcomed guest, Sawyer Williams, and new members, Adrian Hicks and Greg Presley.
Next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. March 6 at the 4-H building.
