Banner fifth and sixth grades recently participated in a track meet held at Maysville.

Banner teacher Denise Faulkner taught the pre-kindergarten class about leprechauns from reading of the book, How to Catch a Leprechaun.

The Banner Bomber 4-H Club has been busy planting and growing herbs.

After 25 years with the Canadian County Assessor’s Office, Joe Farley retired.

A reception was held in his honor last week with Sen. Jack Stewart presenting a Certificate of Appreciation from the state of Oklahoma for Farley’s years of dedicated service.

Farley and his wife, Judy, were greeted by more than 60 people at the reception, including his entire family with the exception of two grandchildren who were unable to attend.
