Body Daniel Warren Magpie Jr. died June 22, 2024, at his home in El Reno. He was born April 25, 1942, in Canton where he lived most of his life.He was a member of the Native American Church and worked at Lucky Star Casino as a machine technician.

Body Services for Linda Kay Gomez were held Thursday at the Geary Emergency Response Center, with cremains buried in the Pedro Family Cemetery in Calumet.Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Linda died June 17, 2024, at Holy Cross Hospital in Taos, N.M.

Body Services are pending for Frank Leroy Gibson. Mr. Gibson passed away June 27, 2024.He was born Feb. 6, 1959, in El Reno.

Body Robert Douglas “Doug” Revel went to be the Lord on June 16, 2024. He was born Oct. 20, 1960, in Chickasha to Robert and Sue Revel.Doug attended El Reno High School where he met the love of his life, Lori Hauenstein.Doug and Lori were married May 2, 1980.

Body Funeral services for Edwina Jean Thompson will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 24 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Bishop Micolous Griffis and Pastor Craig E. Johnson officiating.Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Body Linda Pedro Gomez died June 17, 2024, in Taos, N.M.Services are pending with Huber-Benson Funeral Home. 

Body John R. Edwards was born in St. Louis, Mo., on Feb. 11, 1937, to Oran Lyle and Mollie Josephine (Reynolds) Edwards. He was raised in Oklahoma City and lived in Bethany before moving to El Reno in 1977. He was a talented sign painter.

Body Frances Mae Mitchell, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 30, 2024, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. Frances Mae was born July 27, 1931, in Long Beach, Calif., to Charles Edwin and Frances Josephine Humphreville.

Body Leroy David Schein was born Aug. 4, 1945, in Oklahoma City to Walter Herman Schein and Anna Mary (Hollman) Schein. He passed from this life on May 29, 2024, at the age of 78 at his home in Pocasset. Leroy grew up in Pocasset.

Body Memorial service for Elizabeth Ann Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7 at Calumet Cemetery.
