Margaret M. Moon Thompson, 95, of Calumet, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.She was born Oct. 21, 1929, in Geary to Harry Owen and Faye (England) Moon.

A celebration of life graveside service for Tommy McMurtray, 67, of El Reno will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 23 at the El Reno Cemetery. Tommy passed away Jan. 21, 2025. He was born June 4, 1957, in El Reno to Roy and Charlene McMurtray. He was a retired carpenter.

Becky Sue Vickrey Garlow, 70, passed away peacefully at home in Shawnee on May 14, 2025, surrounded by her adoring family.

Services for Judy Holdaway are pending with Huber-Benson Funeral Home.Judy died May 17, 2025, at her home in El Reno. 

Graveside services for Bertha Jean Sanders will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29 at the El Reno Cemetery with Grant Finley officiating.

Services for Veda Fae Moore will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16 at Huber-Benson Funeral Home with Chaplain Corey Meehan of Russell-Murray Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in the El Reno Cemetery.

Graveside services for Wallace Clay Jenkins will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 12 at the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.    Wallace died May 5, 2025, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Elmer Oscar Phillips was born Jan. 8, 1926, at the family farmhouse near Binger, to William Burton (W.B.) Phillips and Anna Phillips. He passed away May 4, 2025, in El Reno.

Jack Edward Hunt was born Jan. 13, 1933, to Ed and Gladys Hunt in El Reno, upstairs above the Napa Store on Rock Island. Before graduating from El Reno High School in 1953, Jack played football and was a member of the band.

Wake service for Mary Elizabeth Sankey will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, with funeral services on Saturday, May 10 at 2 p.m., both at the Concho Emergency Response Center.
