Michael Lee Ague, age 43, passed from this life on Feb. 10, 2020. Michael was born July 16, 1976, in Oklahoma City to parents, Treasa and Robert Ague.
Michael loved the outdoors and his family. He enjoyed time spent hunting and fishing with his brother and children. He also loved camping and cookouts. His family and friends will always remember him as a fun-loving person.
Ardyth Shan (Leeper) Guth was born in Oklahoma City on March 11, 1929. Her parents were Ruth (Hoffman) Leeper and Milo Francis Leeper. Ardyth died Feb. 8, 2020, at her home in El Reno.
She attended kindergarten and grades 1 and 2 in Hawthorn School in Oklahoma City. She attended grades 3 through 6 in El Reno at Central School. She attended eighth and ninth grades in Odessa, Texas, and 11th and 12th grades in Tahoka, Texas.
Funeral services for Billy Gene Elliott were held Friday, Feb. 7 at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon.
Billy passed away Feb. 3, 2020, at the age of 37. Billy was born to parents, James Elliott and Delores “DeDe” Henderson on June 14, 1982, in Oklahoma City. He grew up in El Reno.
Billy had two sons, James and David Elliott and one stepdaughter, Renae Rankin, whom he loved very much.
Funeral services for Delores Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Carson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wewoka Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor the life of Clyde “Ed” Edward Wier will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Carson officiating.
Mr. Wier passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, in El Reno. He was born Oct. 10, 1939, in El Reno to Clyde and Irene Wier.
Clyde had lived in Okinawa, Japan, until he retired in Florida and then later came back to El Reno where he had resided since.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Patricia Lee Kohut was held Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services for George Lee Miller will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Fort Reno Chapel, with burial in the Ray-Geyer Cemetery in Pottawatomie County.
Mr. Miller passed away Jan. 16, 2020. He was born May 5, 1954, in Andrews, Texas.
George was raised in El Reno and later graduated from Tipton High School.
After graduation, George joined the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War.
He had been employed as an over-the-road trucker.
Funeral services for Joe Lee Nusbaum were held Friday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Nusbaum passed away Feb. 2, 2020. He was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Newton, Kan.
Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Ethelyn, and his children, Sharon Bromlow and Randall Nusbaum, both of El Reno and Patricia Bernhardt of Yukon.
Johnnie Faye Weber, 83, of El Reno passed away Feb. 3, 2020.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
Our dear, sweet Larissa Rose Blevins Jewell peacefully slipped into eternity Sunday morning, Feb. 2, 2020, at 2:20 a.m. Larissa was born in Oklahoma City on Dec. 14, 1995, to Larry and Vanessa Blevins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Thomas N. Sharp.
