Special needs egg hunts set for April 14-17

The hunt must go on.

That’s the sentiment of Larry and Nancy Salsman. The pair have taken it upon themselves to put on the Easter egg hunt for special needs children.

The event was normally hosted by the VFW. But after the organization disbanded in El Reno, Nancy Salsman said she and her husband knew they couldn’t let the egg hunt fade away.

Salsman said the couple have purchased eggs for the hunt and have coordinated with El Reno Public Schools to hold the special event at school sites.
