Robert Beck II

Funeral services for Robert Leonard Beck II will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Grant Findley officiating. Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Robert died Nov. 7, 2022, at his home in El Reno. He was born June 1, 1975, in Middletown, Ohio. He was an automobile restorer and owner of Beck’s Custom Classic Cars and partner of Better Buy Auto in Oklahoma City.

He was a volunteer for the Cavett Kids Foundation and a member of First Baptist Church.

Adam Roach

Body

Adam Michael Roach, age 46, passed away Nov. 2, 2022, at his home in El Reno.

Adam was born Oct. 16, 1976, in Okarche to Mike and Phyllis Roach.

Adam was a 1995 graduate of El Reno High School and an active member and participant in the FFA program offered by the school. He was a strong supporter of the program years after graduation and during his college years at Redlands Community College and Oklahoma State University.

He graduated from Redlands in 1998.

Yvonne Miller

A memorial service for Yvonne Marie Miller was held Saturday at Life Community Church with Pastor Tom Arnould officiating.

Arrangements were by Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Yvonne died Oct. 27, 2022, at her home in Mustang.

She was born May 27, 1977, in Roseburg, Ore.

She attended Good News Church.

Yvonne is survived by her children, Deven and Mackenzie Miller.

James Willis Jr.

Graveside services for James Willis Jr. were held Monday at the El Reno Cemetery with Gerald Hart and Carman Harvie officiating.

Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

James died Nov. 3, 2022, at his home in El Reno.

He was born Nov. 28, 1959, in Talihina.

For 30-plus years he was an automotive service technician and was employed by Diffee Ford before his retirement.

He was a member of the Choctaw and Jicarilla Apache Tribes.

Eddie Penwright

Graveside service for Eddie Joe Penwright will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the El Reno Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Cory Stanley officiating. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Eddie died Oct. 30, 2022, at his home in Calumet. He was born April 5, 1950, in Okarche.

Louise Williams

Body

Graveside services for Louise R. Williams of Geary were held Wednesday, Nov. 2 in the Geary Cemetery with Rev. Richard Cox officiating. Services were entrusted to Turner Funeral Home.

Louise passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at the Maple Lawn Manor Nursing Home in Hydro at the age of 81. She was born Feb. 24, 1941, in Bennettsville, S.C., to Henry and Suzy (Quick) Rich.

Louise attended Bennettsville High School. She moved to various places including Collinsville, Okla. She and David Williams met while he was working in the Tulsa area.

Austin Meiwes

Body

Austin Chase Meiwes, age 27, was born June 29, 1995, and passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, in Oklahoma City.

A 2015 graduate of Yukon High School, Austin began his career as an electrical apprentice with OESCO on Dec. 2, 2019, where he was still employed at the time of his death.

He was also a member of the IBEW Local Union 1141.

Joe Masters

Body

Joe C. Masters, 76, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, peacefully and surrounded by his family. Joe was born to Ray and Thelma Masters in El Reno, where he also spent his childhood. The “baby” of the family by several years, he was doted on as a child and was fortunate enough to meet his best friend, life partner and soulmate, Frances Arnold, at the age of 13, where they had several seventh-grade classes together at El Reno Junior High.

Florence O’Hara

Florence Juliann O’Hara, 86, passed away Oct. 28, 2022, in Yukon.

Florence was born at home on Nov. 27, 1935, in Bessie, Okla., to Emil and Alvina (Bolinger) Mueller. She would tell stories of her early years during the Dust Bowl when her mother would put a wet blanket over her for protection.

Although the dust would get inside the house because of no insulation, her parents never spoke of the hard times. Florence was one of three daughters alongside her sisters, Volina and Kathleen.

Ronald McCracken

A memorial service for Ronald Clay McCracken will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Michael Moss officiating.

Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Ronald died Oct. 21, 2022, in Edmond at his son’s home. He was born Nov. 27, 1939, in El Reno and worked as a lineman for OG&E for over 25 years.

He enjoyed fishing with his friends at Lake El Reno, motorcycles, watching football, horses, spending time with his family and making others laugh.
