Canadian Valley Art Guild will hold a demonstration meeting featuring award-winning watercolorist and local artist Dwayne Taylor on April 13 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at United First Methodist Church, 400 Elm Avenue in Yukon.
A native of Caddo County, Taylor has pursued his career dream in art for more than 45 years. He began as a high school art instructor for three years in Anadarko and later for two years in Nowata. Success with juried art shows led Taylor to a full-time art career.
Athletes in spring sports throughout Canadian County have had to deal with freezing temperatures, high winds and wet weather in the month of March.

At 1:32 a.m. and 1:37 a.m. on March 26, surrogate Kiley Wiewel Davis gave birth to Isaac Andrew Rasbold, 4 pounds, 12 ounces, and John “Jack” Ronald Rasbold, 4 pounds, 9 ounces.
Kiley then gave the identical twin boys to parents, Sarah Wiewel Rasbold and Stephen Matthew Rasbold.
What a gift from God. Kiley is an angel.
Maternal grandparents are Ronald (deceased) and Betty Wiewel.
Paternal grandparents are Brian and DeAnn Rasbold.
