Davidson falls short in finals against rival
OKLAHOMA CITY – While it was not the desired color, putting any medal around your neck at the state’s premiere high school wrestling event is an honor within itself.
El Reno senior Hunter Davidson became the school’s 73rd state placer after taking the Class 5A 157-pound silver medal at the 113th Annual Oklahoma State High School Wrestling Championships.
“It’s an awesome honor and Hunter had a good state tournament. He fell a little short in the finals but I’m still really proud of him,” said El Reno head coach Anthony McDonald.
