Ombudsman improves quality of long-term care

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program serves residents in nursing homes, assisted living centers and residential care homes. An ombudsman helps to improve the quality of care and life for the residents. As a friendly visitor and advocate, the volunteer has many opportunities to be of service and enrich the lives of the residents.

New Hope WMU to sponsor Easter offering

Members of New Hope Women's Missionary Union met recently at New Hope Church with Peggy White serving as hostess. Mary Jones extended a welcome and led in the reading of the Mission Statement and Watchword, followed by opening prayer by Etta Goucher.
