The group Oklahoma United is calling for abolishing our state’s primary election system and replacing it with a “jungle primary” in which the top two candidates proceed to the November general election ballot regardless of party.

We all grow up being indoctrinated with rules that limit us. The purveyors of this information are not malicious. They are simply passing along what they themselves have been taught.

You are probably aware of one or more of the following rules. Decide for yourself if you have been limited by any of them.

November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. It is celebrated every November as a time to raise awareness about hospice and palliative care, and to celebrate the people who provide this important care to patients and their families.

Often, these messages lack specific information or location details. In many cases, a singular post has sparked widespread concerns, leading to copycat threats and disruptions across multiple states and communities.

Lord’s Harvest living our mission with every meal served

Drive by The Lord’s Harvest food ministry on west Sunset Drive and you will most likely see people standing outside.

What you don’t see is the work going on inside the building.

That work, so far this year, has provided food more than 35,770 times for people in El Reno.

And the year is not over.
