Body Justin Shane Jones was born Oct. 10, 1986, to AnDrea Wagner Bollinger in El Reno, and passed away March 31, 2020, in El Reno. Justin graduated from El Reno High School and resided in El Reno. Justin loved to listen to music and always had his headphones on.

Body Private graveside services for Freddy Joe Bromlow of Minco will be held under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home. Mr. Bromlow died April 4, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born July 31, 1955, in Chickasha.

Body Irene Anna Perkins departed for her heavenly journey March 31, 2020, after a courageous battle against lung cancer (non-smoker). Due to the coronavirus, a private burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Union City with Rev. Lance Warren officiating.

Body Private family service for Vernon Lee Bomhoff, 81-year-old Weatherford resident, was held Friday, April 3, 2020, in the Lockstone Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Lawrence officiating. Burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Body Private services for Mark Evan Fairchild will be held under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Mark died March 12, 2020, in Oklahoma City. He was born Dec. 21, 1987, in Oklahoma City and lived most of his life in Yukon.

Body David Lowe of Belton, Mo., passed away March 26, 2020.  His parents, Wesley and Luella Lowe preceded him in death. David is survived by his wife, Aliece; son, Jason (Katie); son, Clay (Stacey); and daughter, Cristen; brother, Michael Lowe and sister, Elaine Hostetler.

Body William “Harvey” Thrailkill Jr. was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 25, 2020, in Fayetteville, Ark. Harvey was born March 8, 1947, in El Reno to William Harvey Thrailkill Sr. and Carol Pauline (Reed) Thrailkill.

Body Loving Angel Enters the Gates of Heaven Nancy Jean Herberger went to be with her Lord, husband and son on March 28, 2020. Nancy was born in Lawrence, Kan., on June 21, 1930.

Body Memorial services for James Ralph Mapes of El Reno will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Oklahoma City Cremations. Mr. Mapes passed away March 25, 2020, at his home. He was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Tuttle.

Body In 1901, the Oklahoma Land Lottery was held to distribute the No Man’s Land in central Oklahoma.  Two brothers, John and Tom Hedgecock, came from Wellington, Kan., and registered at Fort Reno for the drawing. They received 160 acres near what is today Hinton.
