Funeral services for Nathanial Randolph Butler were held Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, at Red Buffalo Hall in Carnegie. Services were under the direction of Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Carnegie.

Nathan passed away Jan. 28, 2020, at the age of 44 years in Carnegie. He was born Jan. 6, 1976, in Midwest City to Allen Ray Butler and Tommie Louise Doyebi. Nathan was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and descendent of the Otoe-Missouria Tribes and Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Gene Ray Griggs

Body

Gene Ray Griggs, 82, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at Homestead Assisted Living in Bethany. He was born April 10, 1937, in Calumet. Gene grew up in Calumet, graduating from Calumet High School. He married Georgia Ruzicka on Sept. 15, 1963, sharing over 56 years of marriage. They established their home northwest of Yukon and became proud parents to Patricia and Del.

Gene was a service manager at Goodyear Tire and then became service manager for a Chevrolet dealership for many years until his retirement.

Funeral services for Loretta Schaefer of Okarche are pending with Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Loretta died Thursday at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher.

 

Charles Richard Lippoldt

Charles Richard Lippoldt, born Nov. 12, 1936, in Okarche, died Jan. 17, 2020, at his home in Bishop, Calif. Charles lived in Inyo County for 43 years. He loved to go camping and fishing and he also liked to travel, watch sports and bowl.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Alice Lippoldt; his wife, Teryl Lippoldt; son, Timothy Lippoldt; brother, John Lippoldt; and sister, Alice (Toots) Miller.

Funeral services for Cecil F. Hill of El Reno were held Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2020, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Hill passed peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020, at Mercy Heart Hospital. Cecil was born July 7, 1940, to Norman and Goldia Hill in Casa, Ark.

He was a retired railroad worker, a true patriot, an avid hunter and fisherman, and a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral services for Lylith Faye Beaver Lanigan will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Concho Community Hall with burial in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Lylith, daughter of Dale and Eva (Roman Nose) Beaver, was born Sept. 30, 1939, in Clinton. She was a homemaker and lived in California for many years before returning to Oklahoma in 1981.

Jean M. Davis was born on the family farm 10 miles west of Okarche on April 16, 1930, to Barney and Iva McCabe. She died Jan. 19, 2020, at her home in Yukon, surrounded by her loving family.

Jean loved growing up on the farm, playing with her sisters and brother. She always went with her dad to thresh wheat and drive the wheat truck. She loved riding the horses, feeding the cattle and all things of the farm life.
