Graveside services for Aiden Lee Shaun Horse were held Friday at the Concho Cemetery with Rev. Waylan Upchego officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. 

Aiden was stillborn on Feb. 7, 2021, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. 

Aiden is survived by his parents, Samuel and Lanisha Horse; sisters, Mileena Horse, Mikayla Horse and Lillian Horse; brothers, Samuel Horse Jr., Jonas Horse, Hayden Horse and His’sayots Horse; grandparents, Brian and Lisa Medicine Bear; and great-grandmother, Cynthia Medicine Bear.

James Medicine Elk

Graveside services for James Medicine Elk were held Friday morning at the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

James died Feb. 8, 2021, at his home in El Reno. 

He is survived by his wife, Carroll Adams Hagedorn; children, Penelope Nimsey, Timothy Nimsey and Andrealina Uribe; siblings, Clarence Black, Rosa Ward, Bettina Myrick and Darryl Myrick; and numerous grandchildren.

Erlenne Morrison Sanders

Funeral services for Erlenne V. Morrison Sanders were held Feb. 10, 2021, at Minco First Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Luster officiating. Burial followed at Union City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Erlenne was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Union City to Earl and Marie Morrison. She owned and operated Erlenne’s Beauty Shop in Union City for 30 years.

Being part of Union City all of her life, she dearly loved her town and the families and friends residing there.

Charlene Wright

Body

Funeral services for Charlene Wright of Geary were held Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at Stegall-Long Field House with Rev. Dicky Kurtz officiating. Burial followed in the Geary Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Turner Funeral Home.

Charlene passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 77. She was born Dec. 5, 1943, to Buster O. and Minnie Mae (Hutchins) Huggins in Muldrow.

Ruth Maxine Sikes

Body

Ruth Maxine Sikes passed away peacefully at home in Yukon on Feb. 2, 2021, at the age of 89.

Maxine was born May 7, 1931, at home in Calumet to Joseph and Hallie McMahan. She was a longtime resident of Calumet.

She married Carl Sikes, the love of her life, in 1949. They had three daughters, Edith, Nancy and Gina (who they lovingly referred to as “Rick.”) They always had an open door and welcomed numerous family members and friends into their home over the years.

Lillian B. Ray, known affectionately as Grand’L, was born in Hominy, Okla., to Lydia Ivon Hodges and Manely Joe Hodges on Sept. 18, 1929. Lillian went to be with her heavenly Father on Feb. 2, 2021, at her home in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Terry Diane Davis

Body

Seventy-seven years of love, laughter and accomplishment was called to a close on Jan. 30, 2021, after a valiant battle with cancer. Terry embraced every moment of her life with wit, creativity, and love for her family and friends. She was a teacher by trade and to her core … and expert in making life more beautiful and fun for all who were graced to have known her.

Survivors include her loving daughters, Libby Skye Davis and Anna Davis, and loyal doggie companion, Rufus Davis.

She will be missed by her family and friends.

Elton Clifton Yellowfish Jr.

Elton Clifton Yellowfish Jr. was born Sept. 19, 1976, in Lawton to Elton Yellowfish and Odelia “Dee” Sankey.

He departed this life on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, in Oklahoma City.

E.O., as he was affectionately known, spent his early years in Lawton before his family moved to Barefoot Park east of Canton.

Agnes Littlehawk

Graveside services for Agnes Josephine Littlehawk were held Friday at the Concho Cemetery with John Youngbull officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.   

Agnes died Jan. 31, 2021, at Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center in El Reno. She was born April 10, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas. She lived in numerous places including Wichita, Kan., and Oklahoma City before moving to El Reno many years ago.

Before retiring, she worked for Concho Child Development.

Shirley Jordan

Body

Shirley A. Jordan passed away peacefully at her home in Piedmont on Feb. 1, 2021, with her family by her side.

She was born Dec. 10, 1934, in Oklahoma City to parents, Jerome and Angela (Zachary) Schultz.

Shirley was a baptized member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed talking to people about what God’s Kingdom government is going to do for mankind in the future.

She also very much enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, cooking and playing the piano.
