Monty Golladay, a beloved son, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at the age of 71. Monty (aka “G-man”) leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom and an enduring passion for the great outdoors.
Monty was born in Edmond, Oklahoma on June 16, 1954.
He attended El Reno High School before continuing his education at Texas Tech on a golf scholarship and rounding out his academic career at the University of Oklahoma.
Leota Yvonne Stark, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away Nov. 13, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born May 31, 1940, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, to her parents, Homer and Elbie Burcham.
Leota was a lifelong homemaker. She found enjoyment and entertainment in supporting the OU Sooners and watching Dale Earnhardt race.
Arlene Caryl Imboden Grimsley was born Oct. 5, 1936, to Clarence and Mildred (Sawallisch) Imboden at their home on Route 66 in El Reno, Oklahoma.
On Nov. 11, 2025, Arlene was reunited with her parents and sisters when she passed away peacefully in Yukon, Oklahoma.
A proud graduate of El Reno High School’s Class of 1954, Arlene went on to attend her beloved Oklahoma State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She later completed a master’s degree in education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Sandra Lynn Tatum of Union City took her heavenly flight on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her parents, brother, and the many who have gone before her.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary, Yukon. Pastor Eric Stock and her nephew, Kory Bollinger will be officiating the service. Interment will be in the Union City Cemetery.
Carl Edward “Sonny” Weaver, 88, peacefully passed away at his home on October 25, 2025, after a day of watching football with friends and enjoying a glass or two of wine. Something that he did weekly with his brother Ronnie until his death in February of this year.
Sonny was born November 20, 1936, in Okarche, Oklahoma. Sonny was the oldest of three children born to Carlos and Edith Weaver. Sonny cherished his parents and his siblings, sister Barbara Jo Weaver (Merveldt) and brother Ronnie Weaver.
Jerry Dale Allen, 84, of El Reno, passed away peacefully on Nov. 2, 2025. Born Dec. 22, 1940, in Sarasota, Florida, Jerry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather with a heart for church ministry and a passion for personal projects.
After moving from Alabama to Texas, Jerry worked at Johnson Space Center in Houston where he made significant contributions to the NASA Gemini, Apollo and Space Shuttle programs from 1965-1971. He later moved to Oklahoma where he worked for the Justice Department from 1971-1997 as a metallurgical engineer.
Wake service for Zayla Rose Lobaugh will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, with funeral services set for 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, both at the Emergency Response Center in Concho.
Burial will be in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Zayla died Nov. 2, 2025, at OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born March 29, 2025, in Ada.
Irene Ann Wiedemann passed away Oct. 27, 2025, in El Reno at the age of 91. She was born Oct. 6, 1934, in Okarche to John and Lillian Schieber. Irene was the second youngest of five girls.
She graduated from Okarche High School and began her pursuit of a career in nursing when she met Arthur Wiedemann upon his return from the service and married her forever love at the age of 20. They were married for 68 years, until the time of his death. They spent the majority of the next 33 years on “The Ranch” in Piedmont.
Lenna Hayward LeCrone went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 29, 2025, in El Reno at the age of 91. She was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Plainview, Texas, to Leonard and Ruth (Chambliss) Gibson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Gibson; her mother, Ruth Bunnell and stepfather, Ray Bunnell; son, Daniel Hayward; daughter, Patricia (Hayward) Spink; granddaughters, Krista Hayward and Cathy (Spink) VanWinkle; and sisters, Nettie Stroud and Martha Shearer.
