Funeral services for Paula Louise Conklin were held Friday, Dec. 20 at the Concho Emergency Response Center with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial was in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Paula died Dec. 16, 2024, at Tuscany Village Nursing Center in The Village. She was born Jan. 17, 1955, in Clinton and was raised in Concho. While in school, she played softball and basketball. She was a homemaker.
El Reno High School senior Izzy Choat (seated center) recently signed an National Letter of Intent to play softball for Kansas-based Independence Community College.
Choat is the second player from EHS to sign with a college program this school term.
El Reno High School’s basketball teams were slated to wrap up the 2024 portion of their schedules at home against Noble.
Both teams entered the District 5A-1 battles with the Bears with undefeated 5-0 records.

Graveside services for Betty Rae Elder of Oklahoma City, former Minco resident, were held Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Evergreen Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
