Bill Lowery, a longtime resident of El Reno, passed away Oct. 2, 2019, in Mena, Ark.

Mr. Mowery was born July 26, 1945, in Muskogee. Bill worked at several places throughout his life including Dayton Tire, El Reno Fire Department, Cavin Body & Paint/Wrecker Services and CMI. He was also a PFC in the United States Army. 

Bill is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lowery of Mena; son, John Lowery of Lawton; daughter, Angela Lowery-Busby of El Reno; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mary Lou Thomas of El Reno will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at the El Reno Cemetery Pavilion with Gary Henson of London and Macomb Church of Christ officiating.

Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. 

Mary passed away Sept. 25, 2019, at OU Medical Center. She was born Jan. 11, 1937, in Catron, Mo., to William and Myrtle Harris.

She grew up in Gracemont and moved to El Reno in 1951. She was a 1954 graduate of El Reno High School.
