It’s a word coaches hate to use before tipping off any season, but for El Reno High School's boys basketball team, “rebuilding” is the best word to describe the Indians heading into the 2019-20 season.

Kale Simon’s team kicked off that campaign Tuesday night against Shawnee with only two starters back from last year’s 20-8 team which fell a point shy of making the Class 5A state title game.
