Clutch free throws from Moore seal two-point win for Indians in thriller

Body

Darius Moore made only two free throws in last week’s game with Elgin to kick off the 2020 portion of El Reno High School’s boys basketball schedule, but they were his biggest shots of the season to date.

Moore sank both free throws with 4.2 seconds left as the Indians defeated Class 4A’s 15th-ranked Owls 50-48.

The non-conference win lifted El Reno, ranked No.13 in Class 5A, to 4-3 on the season. It was the Indians second straight win.

“That’s a good way to start off 2020,” said Moore.
