Graveside services for William “Corky” Schulte Jr. of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9 at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche with Father Lance Warren officiating. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Bill or Corky, as he was known by many, was born March 8, 1949, in Oklahoma City. He passed away Oct. 4, 2021. Bill attended Sacred Heart School in El Reno, St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., New Mexico Military Institute, University of Oklahoma, where he played football, and graduated from Redlands Community College.

Graveside services for Larry M. McNeil were held Wednesday at the Concho Cemetery, under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Larry died Sept. 30, 2021, at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born Aug. 29, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked for the Salt Lake Tribune and was a retired printing press operator. He was Grand Master of Beadwork and was an accomplished silversmith and artist.

He was a Native Straight Dancer and member of the Four Corners Gourd Dance Society, Salt Lake City Chapter.

GIRL – Joy and Eric Vandergrift of El Reno are parents of a girl, Martha Ruth, born Aug. 21 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She weighed 8 pounds and measured 20.5 inches in length.

Martha has a sister, Grace.

Maternal grandparents are Elroy and Valora Unruh of Meno.

Paternal grandparents are Larry Vandergrift of Yukon and the late Bernadette Vandergrift of Lawton.
