ER voters to decide on Mayor Tuesday

El Reno will choose a mayor on Tuesday, deciding between four individuals. The top vote-getter will serve a three-year term.

Matt White, 47, is the incumbent, having served four terms as El Reno mayor. He is being challenged by Steve Jensen, 52, a 20-year member of the El Reno Public School Board as well as Rita Thompson, 62, and Kevan Copelin, 62, both of whom have said they are mostly retired.

Early voting was held Thursday and Friday at the Canadian County Election Board. The polls for Tuesday's election will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
