Lamplighters meeting held at local church

Lamplighters Oklahoma Home and Community Education Association of Canadian County met recently at a local church fellowship center. Joan Herr offered opening prayer, with Carol Stine giving the devotion on “The Love Letter.” Maxine Little led the flag salute.

Banner Academic Team

Body

Banner Academic Team has been awarded both the district and regional championships in the Oklahoma Association for Academic Competition. As well as competing head-to-head with teams from the Enid and Okarche areas, this fifth- and sixth-grade team participates in online challenges covering subject areas such as social studies, math, language arts, science and humanities. The Upper Elementary Area Meet will be held in early spring.
