Gov. Kevin Stitt wants us all to be neighbors.

OKLAHOMA CITY — With Gov. Kevin Stitt announcing this week that Oklahoma is “critically low” on COVID-19 tests, state health experts say we need to presume that anyone could have the virus — and behave accordingly.

Canadian County Sheriff Chris West canceled all jail visitation last week and changed procedures for how attorneys and inmates meet in response to COVID-19.

Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Gov. Reggie Wassana said a state of emergency exists in the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes as a result of the threat of COVID-19.

While some other districts in the state may be scrambling to determine ways to pay non-certified personnel during the shutdown caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, El Reno Public Schools has its employees breathing a bit easier.
