Alicia Rose Learned died Nov. 4, 2019, at her home in El Reno.

Born July 17, 1972, in Oklahoma City, Alicia was one of 10 children born to John Warren and Juanita May (Lincoln) Learned. She was a graduate of Northwestern Classen High School and a member of Drexel Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

Clarita Porras

Wake service for Clarita Beatriz Porras was held Friday at the Concho Community Hall. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Concho Community Hall with burial in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Clarita died Nov. 2, 2019, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born June 20, 1975, in Clinton. She lived most of her life in El Reno but also lived in Bethany and Austin, Texas.

Justin Woodward

Memorial service for Justin Mathew Woodward of Moore will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Geary Cemetery.

Justin passed away Nov. 1, 2019, in Oklahoma City. He was born July 1, 1991, in Oklahoma City, and grew up in Moore. He was involved in Boy Scouts, achieving the level of Eagle Scout during his school years.

He had a love and knowledge of electronics which served him well into his adult life.

Mary Girard

Memorial services for Mary Margaret Girard of El Reno will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the El Reno Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Miss Girard passed away Oct. 24, 2019, at the Spanish Cove Retirement Center in Yukon. She was born March 11, 1927, in El Reno.

She had lived in Tennessee, South Carolina and Baltimore, Md., before moving back to Oklahoma.

She was a graduate of El Reno High School and received a bachelor of science degree in social work.

Mary was a homemaker.

Visitation for Bertie Kellyene (Barlow) Roper will be held Wednesday and Thursday at Huber-Benson Funeral Home, with the family present in the chapel from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at 10 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Patricia Horn Morgan McBride

Patricia Horn Morgan McBride passed away Oct. 30, 2019, in Oklahoma City. She was born March 4, 1933, in Sayre to George Edward Horn and Ola Faye Boyd Horn. They lived in the Delhi community and moved to Erick in 1948.

Patricia was a forward on the Erick Bearcats girls basketball team and was active in the Lasso Pep Club and FHA. She and John Barney (JB) Morgan were married in August, 1950, in Erick.

Glen Dale Rickner

Glen Dale Rickner of Dallas, Texas, passed away Oct. 25, 2019. He was born Nov. 5, 1944, in El Reno. An Air Force veteran, Glen lived his dream, going to Southwestern Oklahoma State University on a basketball scholarship, then returning home to El Reno to coach and teach. His career as a coach and teacher spanned 40-plus years.

A beloved husband, father, Papa, brother, coach, teacher, mentor and friend, Glen was an avid golfer and a true sports fan. He cheered for the OU Sooners, Dallas Mavericks and the Yankees, and particularly the Brock Eagles (the team his son, Bo coaches).

Stanley James Gatz

Stanley James Gatz was born Aug. 15, 1956, in El Reno. He died Oct. 21, 2019, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Stanley was a lifelong resident of El Reno, graduating from El Reno High School in 1974.

He was employed by Questar Oil Company and previously worked for the Rock Island Railroad. He enjoyed woodworking and being with family and friends.

On Feb. 14, 1974, Stanley and Deborah Sue Williams were married in Banner. Debbie survives him.

Martha Jane Turner

Funeral services for Martha Jane Turner of Yukon will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, with interment following in the El Reno Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Yanda & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Martha passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, in Oklahoma City. She was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Asher to James Preston and Ollie (Johnson) Fry. Martha graduated from Asher High School in 1957. She married Stephen E. Turner on April 7, 1973.

Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in Geary under the direction of Turner Funeral Home. Viewing will be at Turner Funeral Home starting Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. There will be a viewing where the family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Geary First United Methodist Church.
