Christine Victoria Yoder died June 22, 2026, at her home in El Reno. She was born in Oklahoma City on Aug. 31, 1962, to L.D. and Hazel Bell (Cole) Yoder. 

Vicki is survived by her husband, George Bryan Sykes; daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Kale Neufeld of Englewood, Colo.; brother, Tim Yoder of El Reno; and a granddaughter, Ellie Neufeld.

A memorial service for Vicki was held Monday, June 29 at Huber-Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Lance Warren officiating.

Margaret Pauline Ryan

Body

Margaret Pauline Ryan was born March 28, 1933, in Lakota, Iowa. She entered into eternal rest June 22, 2026, in El Reno.  

Margaret was the middle child of Fred and Marie (Baumann) Christ. She grew up on the family farm in Northern Iowa with her parents, older brother, Eugene, and younger sister, Elenora (Christ) Rippentrop.

Carmen Frazier

Body

Carmen K. Frazier passed away June 24, 2026, at the age of 80. She was born Aug. 8, 1945, in the El Reno Sanitarium to Clarence and Beryl Von Tungeln.

Carmen married Jim R. Murphy on April 5, 1963. They had two sons, Michael Murphy and Brian Murphy. 

She retired from Park View Hospital in 2006. 

Carmen leaves behind her son, Michael and wife, Jan of El Reno; grandsons, Cameron Murphy and wife, Erika of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Blake Murphy of Oklahoma City; and brother, John Von Tungeln of Yukon.

Paula Jo Monday

Paula Jo Monday, 90, of Minco, passed from this life on Monday, June 22, 2026, in Chickasha. 

Paula (Polly) was born Feb. 22, 1936, in Los Angeles, Calif., to James and Clara (Shepperd) Reed. Paula lived there until she was 6 years old. The family then moved back to Minco, where she resided for most of her life.

Paula retired from Lucent Technologies after 30 years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening and last but not least, enjoying her grandkids.

DeAnn Proctor-Riley

1955-2026, AGE 71.

Mary DeAnn Proctor-Riley, a life-long El Reno resident, passed away June 22, 2026 at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. DeAnn was born January 5, 1955 at Parkview Hospital in El Reno, the only daughter in a family of four children born to the late Kenneth and Betty Wilson Proctor.

Timothy Hobson

Body

Timothy J. Hobson was born Aug. 21, 1960, in Okarche, Oklahoma, to Paul Dale and Loretta Ruth (Kerr) Hobson. He passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City at the age of 65.  

Tim graduated from Calumet High School and spent most of his life in the Calumet area. He operated a hog farm for several years before establishing and operating Hobson Trucking, where he hauled cattle throughout the region until his retirement in 2021.

Archie L. Jones went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2026, in El Reno, the same town where he was born Feb. 11, 1933.

A lifelong resident of El Reno, Archie was deeply committed to his community. He was a faithful member and deacon of New Hope Baptist Church, an enthusiastic member of the El Reno Cruisers car club, and a dedicated volunteer at both the Canadian County Historical Museum and the El Reno Heritage Express. 

A man of many talents, his passions included repairing and restoring classic cars, as well as gifted woodworking.

Mass of Christian Burial for Sergio Roy Alabata will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 16 at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Lance Warren officiating.

Burial will be in the Dauin Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. 

Roy died June 11, 2026, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. He was born Feb. 24, 1955, in Dapitan City, Philippines.

He was a bank manager and member of Dauin Catholic Church, Dauin, Philippines.

Jack W. Myers Jr. entered his heavenly home on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the VA Center in Clinton, Oklahoma. A Mass for Jack will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in El Reno. Burial with military honors will follow at the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
