Body Calumet High School’s baseball team regained the top spot in the final Class B poll of the spring following a 7-4 win over Weatherford.The Chieftains will take a seven-game win streak and a 14-6 overall record into the regional round of the postseason.

Body El Reno’s Elks Lodge will host a fundraiser for the family of a young boy who is in need of a heart transplant. Nancy Salsman said the spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held May 16 at the Elks, 415 S. Rock Island.The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m.

Body The 75th Annual National Land and Range Judging Contest is set to converge on El Reno as more than 1,000 of the nation’s brightest 4-H and FFA students arrive from more than 37 states. The event will run from May 5-7.

Body The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a 19-year-old Calumet man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on SH 66 in Caddo County. Trooper Brent Tucker reported Langston Alan Pratt was killed in the accident that happened about 2:30 a.m. April 25.
