Body Calumet High School’s baseball team regained the top spot in the final Class B poll of the spring following a 7-4 win over Weatherford.The Chieftains will take a seven-game win streak and a 14-6 overall record into the regional round of the postseason.

Land judging returns

Body The 75th Annual National Land and Range Judging Contest is set to converge on El Reno as more than 1,000 of the nation’s brightest 4-H and FFA students arrive from more than 37 states. The event will run from May 5-7.

OHP reports Calumet man killed in single-car accident

Body The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a 19-year-old Calumet man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on SH 66 in Caddo County. Trooper Brent Tucker reported Langston Alan Pratt was killed in the accident that happened about 2:30 a.m. April 25.
