Body El Reno High School’s fast-pitch softball team snapped a three-game losing streak by winning a trio of games in the 2023 Shawnee Festival. El Reno improved to 7-4 on the season by defeating Del City (12-1), Duncan (13-2) and McAlester (3-0).

Body Tyler Scott Ellison, 43, of El Reno, passed away Aug. 22, 2023. Tyler was born July 24, 1980, in Oklahoma City to Wana Ellison. Fourteen short months later, Tyler was gifted with a built-in best friend, Spencer Tillery. Tyler attended El Reno High School.
