Head coach Chuck Atchison watched from the press box last week as his El Reno High School football team wrapped up the non-district portion of its 2020 schedule.

El Reno High School’s softball team capped off a tough run through the Bixby Invitational with an 8-7 win over Henryetta on a bases-loaded walk by Chenoa White. The free pass scored Iliana Ashford from third as the Indians went 2-3 in the tournament.

WEATHERFORD – Three interceptions by Weatherford's defense turned into 20 points as the Eagles scored six straight touchdowns en route to a 41-14 win over El Reno. The Indians wrapped up the non-district portion of their schedule with a 1-2 record after back to back road losses.

Shayne Castrop and Dillon Hamlett carry the EHS flags onto the field last week in Piedmont. The Indians were slated to play in Weatherford Friday.

After matching home run shots in the first inning, Lawton MacArthur went on a 12-3 run to spoil senior night festivities for El Reno High School’s softball team. The Highlanders handed El Reno a 14-5 defeat as the Indians slipped to 6-9 on the season.

El Reno High School’s football team took a 1-1 record into Friday’s game at Weatherford. The Indians will be looking to improve on both offensive and defensive numbers (see season stats graphic). Brayden Girard (10) tries to elude a diving tackle in last week’s 31-7 road loss at Piedmont.

After dropping a heartbreaking top 10 battle with Carl Albert, El Reno High School’s volleyball team has rebounded with a three-match win streak to lift the Indians up a spot in the latest Class 5A poll.

Union City High School’s baseball team extended its current win streak to nine games last week with a 14-1 road win over Ninnekah. The unranked Tigers improved to 12-2 on the fall season after logging 10 hits and six walks off the Owls pitching staff.

Calumet High School’s softball team continues to carry the hot bats after logging 32 hits in wins over Thomas/Fay-Custer and Waynoka. The Chieftains improved to 10-5 on the season with a 10-0 shutout of the Terriers and a 13-5 decision over Waynoka. Both wins featured double-digit hits.
