McGuinness logs three unanswered goals to blank ER boys in 5A-2 tilt
After pitching a shutout over the first 40 minutes, El Reno High School’s boys soccer team allowed three second-half goals to Bishop McGuinness en route to a 3-0 shutout loss.
The Indians have now lost four matches in a row to slip to 1-5 on the season and 0-1 in the District 5A-2 standings – which is sixth. The Irish improved to fourth in the league at 1-1.
El Reno’s defense held off 10 shots by the Irish in the first half as goalie Angel Gonsales logged six saves, including a sliding kick clear out in the 25th minute.
