Carolyn Sue Smith, known to most as Sue, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2020, in Union City with her family by her side. 

Sue was born to Homer and Lillian Smith on Oct. 15, 1944, in Dallas, Texas. She lived in the Texas Panhandle briefly before establishing her forever home in Watonga.

Sue found the calling that suited her servant heart when she discovered nursing.

She was a Certified Medications Aide and very knowledgeable in many areas of medicine and trained others who were coming up in the field of nursing.

Marion Martha Antoinette Welenz Hedrick, 89, formerly of El Reno, passed away April 30, 2020, at Baltimore Veterans Administration Hospital in Baltimore, Md. 

Born in Scranton, Penn., on Nov. 24, 1930, to Anton Joseph and Catherine Veronica (Dudek) Welenz, Marion was the second of three daughters.

In her youth, she loved swimming and ice skating. She was classically trained in voice and piano, gifts she shared throughout her life. In her later years, she found a deep passion for art, winning several awards for her original paintings.

Graveside services for Mildred Louise (McBee) Eskind of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2020, with Pastor Tyler Kelley officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Mildred was born March 28, 1932, in El Reno to her parents, S.R. and Mayme (Ward) McBee. She passed away May 7, 2020.

Graveside services for Charles Edward Webster will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2020, in the El Reno Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, May 17 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Mr. Webster was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Dover to Charley and Josephine Webster. He passed away May 11, 2020, in Oklahoma City.

Charles married the love of his life, Wanda Huff on Oct. 17, 1950, and together they had two children.

Charles served in the United States Navy and was employed with the Rock Island Railroad as an engineer until his retirement.

Funeral services for Robert Gerald Pisell will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2020, at West Metro Church of Christ, 4900 S. Cemetery Road, Yukon. Burial will follow in the El Reno Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, May 21 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mr. Pisell, age 88, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on May 7, 2020. He left this earth for his heavenly home with Jesus Christ. Bob was a faithful Christian, loving husband, father, grandfather, neighbor and friend.

Boyd Ray Endecott was born July 27, 1936, in Oilton and fell asleep in death at his home in El Reno on May 10, 2020.

Boyd served as an elder in the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

From his youth on, he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing.

Memorial graveside services for Dorothy (Dottie) Alzetta Johnson will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2020, in the Geary Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Charles King and Rev. Ronnie Jacobs officiating. Services are entrusted to Turner Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born Nov. 24, 1968, to Albert Johnson and Cozetta (Brown) Johnson in Oklahoma City, and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at the age of 51 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. 

Services for James E. Garrett Jr. were held Monday in the El Reno Cemetery with Chaplain Lonnie Webb officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mr. Garrett died May 8, 2020, at his home in El Reno. He was born Jan. 8, 1944, in Shawnee. He was president of the Trade and Industrial Club while attending El Reno High School.

After graduating in 1962, Jim served in the U.S. Air Force. He lived in various places including Temple, Texas, and Woodbridge, Va., before returning to El Reno in 1977.

Richard Nelson Sanders, age 75, of Granbury, Texas, died on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Richard was born March 11, 1945, in Connersville, Ind.

On Aug. 29, 1970, he married his wife of nearly 50 years, Deborah. Together they welcomed son, Eli in 1976, and daughter, Emily in 1978.

Richard is survived by his wife, Deborah; son, Eli and daughter-in-law, Heather; daughter, Emily; granddaughter, Autumn, grandson, Riley, grandson, Zackary and wife, Danielle, with great-grandson, Emerson.

Private graveside services for Margaret Jane McDaniel of Minco will be held under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Jane passed away May 6, 2020, at Grace Living Center in Chickasha. She was born Oct. 13, 1940, in Minco. Jane was raised in the Minco and Cogar communities, graduating from Minco High School. She was a member of the Longview Church in Binger.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Teresa Fletcher of Minco; sisters, Joyce Evans and Helen Smith, both of Chickasha; and two grandchildren.
