Donna Mae Becker Swartz was born Sept. 14, 1935, to Ralph and Ruth Becker, their only child. She passed away May 20, 2021.
Donna married Henry A. Swartz in 1955. They had four children, Reed, Douglas and Ralph and Ruth Ann, who were twins. They lived and worked in St. Charles and Chicago, Ill., before moving to Oklahoma City, Bethany and El Reno.
She was employed at Sears, Bausch and Lomb and Miracle Ear.
Donna cherished their grandchildren, Donna Marie, the daughter of Douglas, and Allen, Eric, Matthew and Daniel, sons of Ralph.
Memorial services for Robert “Bobby” Wayne Dalton will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Bobby passed away Sept. 14, 2021, in Yukon. He was born Aug. 27, 1954, in Anthony, Kan. Bobby had many adventures over the years, but his work with horses and being in the kitchen cooking for people were some of his most talked-about stories.
What always remained a constant was his love for his family and friends.
Funeral services for Joyzelle Dianna “Joy” Seely will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 at St. John’s Cemetery in Dime Box, Texas.
Joy, born in Dime Box, Texas, on Dec. 11, 1938, to parents, Henry and Ella Marburger, passed away Sept. 14, 2021.
Joy enjoyed spending her time with family and was always on the move, especially with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Funeral services for Christopher Glen Nichols will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 at First Christian Church with Ronnie Fields, Colton Lott and Tara Dew officiating. Burial will follow in the El Reno Cemetery.
Chris died Sept. 10, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1968, in Okarche to Glen and Carol (Wallace) Nichols.
He grew up in El Reno and graduated from El Reno High School in 1986. While in high school he was an active member of the El Reno Future Farmers of America (FFA).
Funeral services for Annabel Candy Lorentz were held Tuesday at First Methodist Church in Geary with Rev. Waylan Upchego officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Annabel died Sept. 9, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born April 30, 1952, in Clinton and lived most of her life in Geary. She was a member of the Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church where she attended Bible studies.
Audine Morrow Graybill was born June 7, 1944, in Hammon to Warren and Betty Joe (Trent) Morrow.
She was baptized in 1955 at the Hammon Church of Christ.
Audine passed away Sept. 5, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 77 surrounded by family.
Audine attended Hammon School before she married Allen D. Graybill on Aug. 19, 1966 (55 years married). She completed coursework at Central State University and Oklahoma State University starting in 1966.
Funeral services for Bubby Gene Watts of El Reno will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at First Pentecostal Church of God, with burial following in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Mr. Watts passed away Sept. 7, 2021, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born Feb. 1, 1939, in El Reno. He married Doris Powell of El Reno, the love of his life, both of whom were inseparable, on Dec. 23, 1955.
Susan Louise Cunningham was born in Portland, Ore., on Dec. 12, 1943. She grew up in Warrenton, Ore., where she attended Warrenton High School. Susan lived in several other areas before settling in El Reno in 1975.
She enjoyed jewelry-making, collecting semi-precious stones and rock concerts, you go, Granny!
Susan was a Quality Control Inspector with Lucent Technologies when she retired after a 20-plus-year career.
Graveside services for Thirza Margaret Pollock were held Thursday at the Concho Cemetery with Rev. Mickey Black officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Thirza died Sept. 3, 2021, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born Dec. 10, 1961, in Okarche. She was raised in El Reno and lived in Lawton, Oklahoma City, Geary and Yukon before returning to El Reno in 1992. She was a caregiver.
