HARRAH – Making its first appearance in the Harrah Panthers Classic, Class 3A’s sixth-ranked Kingston made it quickly clear they wanted to stop El Reno’s top two scorers.

That they did as Indians guards Ashlyn Evans-Thompson and Jaylin Reveles were held to a combined 10 points. What the Redskins didn’t expect was the rest of El Reno’s team to pick up the slack in the way they did.

The Indians got nine points or more from five different players as El Reno rallied from a 36-30 halftime deficit to defeat Kingston 61-53 in the first round of the classic.
