James Curtis Taylor (JT) passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, surrounded by his sons and family. JT was born July 22, 1958, in Okarche, Okla., to Thomas (Tom) Taylor and Darlene Ward Nail. He attended schools in Denver, Colo., Bailey, Colo., and Union City, Okla.

Mary Elizabeth Meyer went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in Kingfisher, Okla. She was born Aug. 2, 1936, in Calumet, Okla., also known as “God’s Country,” to Andrew and Mildred (Perkins) Laub.

Funeral services for Debbie Lynn Niemann were held Friday at Wilson Funeral Home. Debbie passed suddenly on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 62. She was born March 30, 1960, to Leota Yvonne (Burcham) and Virgil Lee Stark. She attended Union City High School where she graduated in 1978.

Services for Ricky Torrez Lerma were held Thursday in the Benson Memorial Chapel, with burial at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Ricky died July 16, 2022, at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon.

Funeral services for Lonny Dean Tech were held Monday, July 18 at Calumet First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Moore and Rev. Mary Irby officiating. Burial followed in the Canadian Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Geary.

Funeral services for Karen Sue Sears will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at First Baptist Church El Reno, under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Karen passed away July 14, 2022. She was born to Lee Roy and Wanda Jean Bonner on July 16, 1953, in El Reno.

A celebration of life for Ronald Gene Bright will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 20 at Wilson Funeral Home. Come-and-go viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ron passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services for Robert W. (Bobby) Bowers were held Tuesday in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Ernie Miller officiating. Burial followed in the Calumet Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Bobby died July 15, 2022, at his home in Calumet.

Longtime Midland, Texas, resident Thomas Edward Moore (Tom) passed away peacefully in his home on June 22, 2022. Tom was born in Tulsa on March 30, 1936, to Dale and Elvera Moore. He graduated from El Reno High School in 1954, where he lettered in basketball and baseball.

LuAlyce Compton Wiggins passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She was born to John H. and BernaDean (Sendelbach) Compton on Jan. 6, 1928. She had three brothers, Bill, Lad and Mike.
