On Sunday, July 3, 2022, Cyrill J. Michalicka passed away at the age of 91 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Cyrill was born Feb. 7, 1931, in Union City to Joseph and Aloisia (Novosad) Michalicka. After completing grade school at St. Joseph in Union City and high school at St. Gregory’s in Shawnee, he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Austria with Army intelligence during the Korean conflict.
After being discharged from the service, he returned home to Oklahoma.
A memorial service for Phyllis Jennings will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 11 at Crossbridge Church with Rev. Mark Fryer officiating.

Funeral services for Ralph J. Myers were held Tuesday at Freewill Baptist Church with Barry Clagg officiating.
Services were under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Geary.
Ralph passed away July 1, 2022, at his home in Geary. He was born Oct. 23, 1933, in South Burlington, Vt. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1962 in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
Ralph worked for the State Highway Department for the state of Connecticut for many years before retiring and moving to Florida, then moving to Geary in 1989.
Nancy Louise Erbar Elkins, 85, passed away at a care center in Boise, Idaho, on Dec. 28, 2020.

Nancy was born July 11, 1935, in El Reno to Bertha (Reuter) and Hal Erbar.
Mass for John Paul Meiwes of Minco was held Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in El Reno. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.
John died June 27, 2022, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born Sept. 9, 1952, in Okarche. He was raised in the Piedmont area, graduating from Piedmont High School.
John moved to Minco in 1973 where he was engaged in farming. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Union City and a past board member of the Hinton Co-op.
Funeral services for Leo M. Allen were held Friday, July 1, 2022.
Mr. Allen was born Feb. 26, 1944, to Dez Allen in El Reno.
He was a 1962 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School.
Leo is survived by three children, Cheweeta Mickens (John), Wendell Ferguson and Leona Barnes (Ron); brother, Warner R. Allen (Edna), and sister-in-law, Phyliss Allen, both of El Reno.
Services for Raymond (Ray) George Dick of Minco were held Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Minco, with burial with military honors following at the Evergreen Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
Ray died June 21, 2022, at the Norman Regional Healthplex. He was born Jan. 17, 1952, in Topeka, Kan. He was an Army veteran serving during Vietnam, and was awarded a Bronze Star.
He became certified as a John Deer tractor mechanic and worked as a tractor and auto mechanic with a shop in downtown Minco.
Ruth Elizabeth Youngheim, 95, passed away May 29, 2022, at her home in El Reno.
Ruth was born in El Reno on March 1, 1927, daughter of Roy Lee and Viola (Reynolds) Mitchell. She was raised in El Reno and worked as a teller at the Citizens National Bank.
In 1971, Ruth married Stanley Youngheim and they remained happily married for 48 years, blessing the lives of everyone they met.
