Services for Linda Sue Horn of Minco will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 at First Baptist Church in Minco, with burial to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Linda died Sept. 17, 2023, at her home. She was born July 13, 1946, in Chickasha, and graduated from Midwest City High School.

She was a homemaker and had worked in real estate. Linda was a member of the Brookline Methodist Church in Midwest City and the Minco Young Women’s Club.

Angela Davis

Body

Angela Kay Davis was born June 4, 1992, and was raised in El Reno. Her parents were the late Sherry Sue Douglas Davis and Allen Davis.

Angela passed from this earth on Sept. 7, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City following a lengthy illness.

Angela attended and graduated from El Reno Public Schools. As an adult, she enjoyed assisting in her grandmother’s insurance business and served on the board of the Mary K. Ashbrook Foundation for El Reno.

Charles Sellers

Funeral services for Charles Matthew Sellers were held Thursday, Sept. 21 at Life Church in Yukon with Pastors Phil Kemberling and Tim Knox officiating. Burial followed in the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Charlie died Sept. 16, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born Nov. 1, 1971, in El Reno. He was the owner of Sellers Trenching and a member of Life Church.

On Aug. 6, 1994, Charlie and Melissa Weach were married in El Reno. Melissa survives him.

Miller Red Cherries Jr.

Body

Graveside services for Miller Red Cherries Jr. will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Miller died Sept. 14, 2023, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born Oct. 25, 1940, in Clinton. While in high school he ran cross-country track. He graduated in 1960 from Haskett Institute where he studied printing. He was a talented silversmith specializing in turquoise jewelry.

Funeral services for Kathy Birlew will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20 at First Christian Church with Rev. Colton Lott officiating. Come-and-go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Lillie Mae Denson

Lillie Mae Simons Denson, 85, of Zephryhills, Fla., went to be with her Lord on Aug. 26, 2023, in Dade City, Fla., after a long illness.

Mrs. Denson was born Oct. 14, 1937, in El Reno to Walter Arthur and Lena Fay (Stine) Simons. She graduated in 1956 from Amarillo High School, Amarillo, Texas.

Lillie Mae was married in 1957, affording her the opportunity to travel the world as a military spouse. To this union five children were born, four sons and one daughter.

Graveside services for Donna Jo Percival of Enid, a former Minco resident, were held Sept. 12 at the Friendship Cemetery southwest of Minco, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Julia Ann “Tiny” Redbird will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Del City Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Vera Radley officiating. Burial will follow in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Tiny died Sept. 9, 2023, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

She was born Nov. 23, 1997, in Oklahoma City. She was a member of the Kiowa Tribe, Pow Wow Club and attended the Del City Church of the Nazarene.

Sunni Redfawn Goodbear

Body

Sunni Redfawn Goodbear, 38 years on this earth.

Sunni was a proud member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes and the Pawnee Nation, Skidi and Chaui Bands. Sunni was a gifted singer, songwriter and Traditional Southern Cloth Dancer.

Sunni loved her tribal culture and was a talented self-taught beadwork artist and participated in the Cheyenne and Arapaho Sundance.

Jannell Ridenour

Body

Jannell Ridenour was born Jan. 29, 1939, to Arthur F. and Ina Louise (Sand) Tech in Calumet. She passed away Sept. 9, 2023, at her home in Calumet at the age of 84. 

Jannell graduated from Calumet High School and from Draughn’s Business School in Oklahoma City. She was united in marriage to Eldon Ridenour on June 27, 1958, in Calumet. She stayed at home and raised her girls and drove a school bus after she and Eldon were married.
