Loyd Eichholz passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was the youngest son of Robert and Johanna (Engbrecht) Eichholz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia, and sisters, Martha Eichholz, Elda Kisner and Bertha Harriage.

Funeral services for Opal (Jean) James will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020, at First Christian Church in Calumet with Rev. Tim Clausing officiating. Burial will follow in the Canadian Valley Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

A time of remembrance and celebration for longtime El Reno resident Joy Ervin was held Monday, June 15, 2020, at First Baptist Church. The service can be viewed at https://youtu.be/NrNW2atcDtA.

Funeral services for Howard Hale Noland were held Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Wilson Funeral Home, with burial following in the El Reno Cemetery. Mr. Noland was born Nov. 28, 1948, in Vicksburg, Miss., to Gearold and Melba Noland, and was called home on June 18, 2020.

Mary Katherine “Kay” Dyer died Monday, June 15, 2020, at the age of 92. Born in Oklahoma City June 11, 1928, Kay was the daughter of Ray and Helen Dyer. A graduate of El Reno High School, she attended the University of Kansas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

Graveside services for Deloris Ann Smith were held Monday in the El Reno Cemetery with Pastor Garrett Miller of Victory Christian Fellowship officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Deloris died June 11, 2020, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

Services for Kimberly Gale Evans of El Reno were held Wednesday in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Jerred England officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Kim died June 6, 2020, at her home. She was born Dec. 5, 1981, in Chickasha.

Judy “Sue” Snell Minyard was born Oct. 8, 1945, in Texas and passed peacefully in her sleep on June 9, 2020, at her in home in Oklahoma City. In 1963 she married Wayne Minyard and they had 56 years together before Wayne’s death in August 2019. Sue was an avid golfer and she enjoyed fishing.

Memorial services for Sherrill Lynn King of Yukon will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020, at El Reno First Baptist Church with Glen Chapman officiating. Sherrill passed away May 14, 2020. She was born Feb. 14, 1955, in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services for Wanetta M. Armstrong of Minco were held Monday at Cogar United Methodist Church, with burial following in the Evergreen Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home. Wanetta passed away June 4, 2020, at her home in Minco.
