Funeral services for longtime El Reno businessman George Ghata will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11 at St. Elijah Orthodox Church in Oklahoma City. Burial is set for Rose-Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City. Ghata, of Oklahoma City, died July 8.

On June 1, 1941, Dez Allen gave birth to Margaret June White in El Reno. June, as she was affectionately called, made El Reno her home for the majority of her life.

Graveside services with military honors for Eddie D. Morrison were held Monday in the Union City Cemetery with Mike Oldham officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for David Ellis Sagebark of El Reno were held Monday in the Concho Cemetery with Rev. Ruby Horse officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. David died June 30, 2020, at St. Anthony Hospital in El Reno. He was born Feb. 8, 1959, in California.

Funeral services for Don Schmidt are pending with Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Don died July 5, 2020, at his home in El Reno.   

Wake service for Helen Ann Campbell was held Thursday at Party Haven in El Reno with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial was held Friday in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Helen died June 28, 2020, in Tahlequah. She was born Aug. 1, 1952, in Clinton.

Prayer service for Dave Merle Klohn was held Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Calumet, with Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at Immaculate Heart with Rev. Cory Stanley officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Kompton Otto Killsnight of El Reno were held Thursday in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Kompton died June 26, 2020, in El Reno. He was born Oct. 15, 1991, in El Reno and was a lifelong resident of the community.

Phillip J. “Papa Bear” Brothers passed this life on June 26, 2020, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 70 years, four months, 21 days. Phillip was born Feb. 5, 1950, in Union City to Jay and Ruby May (Neely) Brothers. He was raised and attended school in Union City.

After years of keeping Parkinson’s at bay, Paul Newell Hauser passed on May 30, 2020, in Overland Park, Kan., at the age of 85. Paul was born Oct. 3, 1934, in Kingfisher to father, Albert W. Hauser and mother, Thelma Oakes, who predeceased him.
