Graveside services for Mary Ellen Rednose Maul will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingfisher Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mary died Dec. 8, 2020, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born Aug. 17, 1956, in Okarche. She lived in El Reno most of her life and taught at the Concho Head Start Program. 

She also was a nutrition educationist at Langston University.

Eunetta Francis Heath

Body

Eunetta Francis (Wilson) Heath was born Jan. 4, 1929, in Haywood to Earl and Nettie Wilson and went to be with her Lord and Savior Dec. 4, 2020, in El Reno.

On Nov. 9, 1949, she married the love of her life, Donald Heath, and together they had two children, Donald and Sharon. They loved traveling, going on cruises and going to their vacation home in Flint Ridge. Her favorite trip that they took together was the Tour of Jerusalem in 1972.

The most important thing to them was serving within the church together. They pastored the Pentecostal Church of God for 54 years.

Brian Scott Nelson

Body

Brian Scott Nelson, 54, of El Reno, was welcomed into heaven on Dec. 2, 2020, passing peacefully at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Brian was born Dec. 31, 1965, in Oklahoma City to Don and Sheri (New) Nelson. Brian was one of three children raised in Mesquite, Texas, and Dothan, Ala. Brian was a brother, son, friend and loved uncle to two nephews and two nieces.

Jerry Mitchell

Graveside services with military honors for Jerry Malcom Mitchell of Minco were held Tuesday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mr. Mitchell died Dec. 4, 2020, at his home. He was born Aug. 25, 1949, in Minco.

Jerry was raised in the Minco and Cogar communities, graduating from Minco High School in 1967. He attended Northeastern Oklahoma University, graduating with a degree in business. He served in the Army National Guard.

Eugene James Rednose

Body

Eugene James Rednose, 73, of El Reno, passed away suddenly at Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, on Nov. 28, 2020.

Eugene was born Aug. 21, 1947, in Concho to Albert Rednose and Louise Blindbull.

Eugene graduated from Chilocco Indian School in Kay County. He joined the Army and was stationed at Oakland Army Base where he met and married Margaret Sandoval and had two daughters.

Over the years, Eugene lived in Oregon and Washington State where he worked as a machinist and for the tribal forestry. He moved back home to Oklahoma in 2006.

Letha Janet “Sis” Gatz was born Aug. 1, 1935, in Union City. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Nov. 29, 2020, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

Glynda Kay Lackey

Body

Glynda Kay Lackey, 79, of El Reno went to be with the Lord on Dec. 1, 2020. She was born Nov. 11, 1941, in Oklahoma City to Jewel Edwin Westervelt and Oma Christine (Wade) Westervelt. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1959. On June 19, 1959, she married Billy Joe Lackey. They enjoyed 61 beautiful years together.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents.

Randy Jackson

Graveside services for Randy Dale Jackson of Minco were held Tuesday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mr. Jackson passed away Nov. 29, 2020, at his home. He was born Aug. 29, 1953, in Hardtner, Kan. He attended Murray State University and Southeastern State University, earning a degree in animal husbandry.

He moved to the Minco/Cogar area in 1984. Randy had worked in trucking and transport all of his life until retirement.

He attended Hazel Dell Baptist Church.

Services for Michael Duane James of Minco will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at First Baptist Church of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Michael passed away Dec. 2, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born June 15, 1984, in Oklahoma City.

Michael was raised in Missouri, at age 14 his family moved to Oklahoma City, where he attended Western Heights Schools. He moved to Minco in 2011.

William Jensen

Mass of Christian Burial for William “Bud” Jensen will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Union City, with  Rev. Lance Warren officiating. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Bud passed away Nov. 26, 2020, at his home in Mustang. He was born April 22, 1942, in Pueblo, Colo. After graduating high school in 1960, he served for three years in the U.S. Army and then began a life-long career in the building industry. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and he especially loved singing in the choir.
