Dr. Kent Ellis Carder “Doc”, 83, of El Reno, went to his heavenly home on Monday, February 14, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. Doc was born October 24, 1938, in El Reno to Dr. Bert and Effie Carder.

Wayne Harold Reuter, born March 13, 1927, passed away Feb. 11, 2022, at his home in El Reno. Wayne was a lifelong resident of El Reno. He married Zelma Hubbard on Jan. 27, 1948, and spent nearly every day after by her side. They were married for 73 years before her passing on Dec. 27, 2021.

Services for Fred Joe Dries III of Union City were held Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Union City, with burial following at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Emelia Madeliene (Tesnareski) Risenhoover passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, Feb. 15th, 2022. Madeliene was born on May 25, 1926 in San Antonio Texas, where she met her husband, James A. Risenhoover, on a blind date. They were married 67 years before James’ death in 2015.

Funeral services for Joseph Garland of Calumet will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Calumet School gymnasium with Jantzen Miller and Stan Van Nort officiating. Services are under the direction of Turner Funeral Home of Hinton. Joe passed away Feb. 12, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services for Victoria Florence Dyer will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Concho Emergency Response Center with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial will follow in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Vicky died Feb. 9, 2022, at Lakewood, Colo.

Ronald Ray Laughlin was born March 26, 1955, and went home to be with Jesus on Feb. 8, 2022. He grew up in El Reno, where he met his high school sweetheart, Nancy Royse Laughlin. They graduated from El Reno High School in 1973.

Marcus Dale Feddersen, a lifelong resident of Canadian County, died unexpectedly at the age of 66 on Feb. 5, 2022, in Wittman, Ariz.

Juanita S. Galvan was born Jan. 25, 1971, to Nancy Alvarado-Galvan and George A. Galvan in Chicago, Ill. She moved to Oklahoma in 1998, and she lived the remainder of her years in El Reno, where she had three children, Victoria, Mario and Samantha. Juanita loved her Yorkies deeply.

Memorial services for Arthur Clayton Bensmiller will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Friendship United Methodist Church in Minco. Burial with military honors will follow at the Friendship Cemetery, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.
